White House Restaurant in the Te Puna Village has a menu that caters to all ages. The restaurant is extremely popular with both locals and visitors. Serving soul food five days/nights per week.
Owners Jo and Penny and their team want guests to dine in a relaxed warm surrounding served by friendly staff.
Opening Hours: Open Tuesday to Saturday from 12 noon, serving food all day and for dinner. Serving dinner from 5:30pm.
After 34 wonderful years in hospitality, we've decided to take a winter break to recharge, refresh, and plan an exciting new chapter.
White House Restaurant will close for a winter break from 13 June 2026, with plans to reopen in spring.
If you have a voucher, we'd love to welcome you in over the next two weeks, or you can simply hold onto it and use it when we reopen.
This break will allow us to step back, rethink, and create a refreshed experience focusing on great food and bringing people together.
Thank you for your support, loyalty, and friendship over the years. We can't wait to share what's next and look forward to welcoming you back in spring.
